Wed. June 24th at the Medical Society of London organised a reading with Prof. Donald Singer of this year’s poets commended in the Hippocrates Poetry and Medicine prize.
Sat. July 4th reading at Keats House, Hampstead. A poetry reading with free entry but a collection at the end for Syria. 7.30 start. A wonderful location for a summer evening! Reading organised by Clare Saponia, a performance poet from Berlin.

Judging with Rafael Campo, the American doctor and poet the 2016 Hippocrates prize for poems on the theme of medicine. See the Hippocrates Initiative website: hippocrates-poetry-org/hippocrates-prize/1st prize £5000. One of the biggest prizes awarded for poetry today.

Running weekly sessions at Macmillan Cancer Centre, Huntley Street and from February will be running a six week course at Maggie’s, Cancer Centre, Hammersmith.
A 6 session project will be starting in February at Dyscover, a day centre at Walton -on -the -Hill, Surrey for people suffering from aphasia. The project will be called, ‘Me before aphasia and Me After Aphasia.’
